Cloud Native, you said Micro-services

In the last podcast we talked about why cloud and hybrid were the natural consequences of performing a transformation to digital. We also talked about how existing applications can be used and what transformation they may have to go through to run in this hybrid environment and fully support the digital enterprise. This time we focus on new applications, or services as they are often referred to these days. They are developed in a totally different way from traditional applications. There is a gradation in “cloud-nativeness”, depending on how you expect your service to behave. Creating micro-services requires taking into account many of the elements that traditional environments performed such as transaction integrity for example.
