Most companies go to cloud step by step, often without a plan. It’s like building your house by putting bricks one on top of the other. This often leads to failures, risks and redundant work. So, planning the journey is key. And this starts with the definition of the end-point. As an old Chinese proverb says, “If you don’t know where you go, any way will lead you there”. But if you have no map on the other hand, you will not reach your destination. In this podcast I propose a way to develop both the end-point and the map in a way that is in line with your current maturity and your company strategy. By pulling the IT team in the planning process you will also gain a better understanding of what the organization needs to do to reach the destination.
First we identify the current maturity model of the organization, as well as the expected one, once hybrid IT is implemented. This leads to the definitions of the areas we have to work on and leads to the establishment of an initial strategy. This one is then refined in the light of the corporate strategy and a number of key drivers. Want to know more? Listen to the attached podcast.
