Building a Hybrid Functional Reference Architecture – part 4 – Service Capability Design

In my previous podcast we described the Strategy to Portfolio aspects of the architecture. Let’s continue and address the Requirements to Deploy section. As I pointed out in the overall description of the link between the architecture and IT4IT, we have divided that value stream in two parts. Let’s focus on the first part, the service capability design. In this section we look at the design and potential development of the service itself, in line with the requirements received from S2P. Again we walk through the three layers, demand, delivery & supply, addressing the functionality available at each layer.

I also try to describe the links with the other parts of the architecture so you get a good understanding of how the pieces fit together. Enjoy listening.
